This Histogen has no money rumor is starting to get annoying, we do know they are heading into more trials.

Trials cost money. A lot of money. To think they're out is ridiculous, lol. They're not out until they make an announcement like Aderans. But thats not likely to happen since theyre planning on releasing their product in Asia after Phase II. No Phase III needed like Aderans.Comment

Granted we don't know RepliCel's final results and we don't know what the hell Follica is doing.Comment

Exactly, and Histogen's results are far, far more impressive than aderans. 86%+ had positive growth from histogen and they haven't even done the dosing trial..right now we know histogen is at least slightly better than propecia and no major sides...it's the most promising treatment we know of so far and it has proved to be that...statistically....Also, histogen could potentially be a major factor in donor regeneration if applied to the donor with acell..according to Dr. Ziering.
Granted we don't know RepliCel's final results and we don't know what the hell Follica is doing.
Follica is going into Phase IIa trials.
But I've got a feeling we could replicate Follica's method quite easily with dermarolling, minox and potentially injecting FGF-9 via diabetic needles or mesogun.
Equally importantly is how Histogen could affect current treatments, or future treatments:
How will growth factors from Histogen benefit Replicel to improve full growth of those DSC cells?
How could Histogen's growth factors benefit Pilofocus' potential regeneration?
Perhaps all that with the addition of Minoxidil and an AA like RU, CB or Fin and maybe continued wounding via dermarolling could give FULL regrowth?Comment

Source for that? (Serious question, not trying to catch you out or criticise, I know you're one of the decent posters here, generally.)
We really needed a pinned topic with the known statuses (FDA trial phases etc) of all the in-progress big gun treatments with solid references.Comment

A good comparison for Histogen in terms of the speed at which they conduct their trials is Replicel.
In 2011, Replicel was lagging behind Histogen by over 12 months. However by 2013 Histogen paused their clinical trials for some unknown reasons while Replicel managed to finish their Phase 1/2a trials, get their Phase 2b protocol approved and study sites organised, and plan on initiating 2b merely 1 month after Phase 1/2a ends! They are also simulaneously performing the long-term safety animal study.
This puts Replicel ahead of the game, while Histogen is still silent on when they plan on performing their Phase 2b trials! It is now 8 months since Histogen completed its Phase 1/2a trial.
I myself have a lot more faith in Histogen than Replicel and believe they probably have the better product; but unfortunately it seems they are not able to proceed at the same pace as their competitors.Comment

you should come back and check in october. They're supposed to conduct another phase in fall this year.Comment

Gail emailed me and said they need to conduct a large scale animal study before they move on to Phase III. The email she sent was in February I think.Comment
