How are faces /heads transplanted person to person and not rejected, while a hair follicle is rejected?

a) Heads aren't transplanted from person to person. It's never been done, or even attempted.

b) Face transplant recipients undergo rigorous tissue matching with potential donors beforehand and take immunosuppressive drugs afterwards.
