Follica has NOT tested this procedure in humans. The only procedure they did so far was a wounding+lithium trial in 2010, and they have not released results.

This trial involved wounding + twice daily applications of lithium gluconate.

As for whether this can be a DIY - many think yes. As for how deep? The clinical trial above notes two possible depths - one is just enough to remove epidermis, the other to get deep enough down to the subcutaneous fat.

What do we know we need?
    1) Wounding
    2) Wnt
    3) Inhibit PGD2
    4) FGF9

With all due respect for Dr. Cotsarelis his research, it always helps to know more on a long term, but these kind of reports no longer make me warm or cold. Whether is between 10 or 10000000 years, there will be a cure one day. But I'm no longer getting my hopes up on a short term solution until I actually see proof.
    This.

This isn't the first time Cotsarelis made a "breakthrough" discovery, and so far nothing useful came out of them.

ah well, I say it's a matter ofjust a few years.

By the way does anyone know when/where Spencer will upload new content? So much stuff going on, and he did indeed mention an interview with David Hall he must have had before the latest announcements, it'd be interesting to hear his take on all this stuff that is happening

Well my density is still lower than what it was before AGA kicked me in the ass. I definitely am putting up a good fight against AGA however its not my ideal result, but overall I'm not complaining too much about the density as nobody can tell I'm balding in the crown/vertex. Only my hairline and temples are now a 'visible problem'

I'll be honest, I'm hard on myself and strive for the best result/treatment/cure possible. Therefor I won't be happy until I get a complete reversal but not just for myself but for all you guys as well.... we shouldnt even have to be on this forum, we should be out enjoying life, going swimming, having confidence in meeting women without that elephant in the room staring at your scalp. We deserve better than the shallowness of society, gimping us at first glance.

Thats where the other forums with group buys and guys willing to try this stuff out will come of GREAT value to everyone. Vehicles, mixtures, applications, sources, etc will be experimented until we know what doesnt work and what MAY work.

YUP! Nothing wrong with that as long as its cautious/realistic optimism.

If the results are good, we just need to find a way to mimic the application using the same stuff.
