    it's not just a growth factor, it's THE growth factor, responsible for the birth of new hair follicles (combined with wounding) because if you would work with a fgf2 mimetic for instance, this will not work. so they are very specific about fgf9. and from the information i have gathered thus far, dr nigam has not been using this specific growth factor.
