may i ask, what Norwood has Gho made your hairline? Is it dense and can you grow it?
I've given a HT (specifically HST) some thought but am too unsure to go ahead with it.

and yes, to come back to Nigam, if he was documenting and certified, and better or even pionner in HM, or the first one to offer it safely and efficiently... I would not mind flying to India, I want there already as a toursit... it would even be a 2 in 1...
But as many said and I agree, there is a big background of photoshoped, and contradictory posts.. etc that killed the trust a bit.
Now I reckon that he gave so much inputs, I am very attentive and interested in reading his posts...but still, I would need much more and much more official proofs...
But I give it some credit...Leave a comment:

Very good question. Of course I've given it quite some thought and in the end I just figured, since another HST won't give me noticeable thinning in my donor and it DOES improve my hairline + density on top, then why wait ? After my 2nd HST I figure I'll be done for at least 3 years and by then, I'll see if there are any new treatments available (hopefully so).
Yes same here, I hesitate between going for the end of this year or extend the break and see how happy this first result can leave me...
as you said, we did not reach yet our maximal final result...so maybe, the best before going for another, is to evaluate at 12 months, if it's rather stable...then maybe, with good shampoos, vitamins, some cure of aminexil or whatever can give you another couple of months or even a year or two of time to reconsider...
I was thinking of that and also, about not being transplanted everywhere on top of the head too quickly since it can be problematic for any other future treatment...
and some other days, I'm having another reasoning...
considering HASCI as the holy grail, the most promising, knowing that Gho works on improving more and more...and then I'm thinking: "OK, let's go there every year until I reach a very full head" of hair and I'm saying to myself : "maybe four or five HST in a row and then we will be in 2018 and then for sure, Gho will have shown us even better and I'm cured + enjoyed my thirty's!!!"
2012 was a +1800 grafts (hairline), 2013 another +1800 grafts (hairline density and top), 2014 maybe another 1800 grafts (top and crown), 2015 a 1500 grafts (dense packing), 2016 another 1500 (dense packing)... hoping that in the meantime, Gho interrupts by saying "dear HST patient, I have better and faster...let's try it"
I always now put an HST in my annual budget calculation, but I'd like to have a better option, even if I'm glad they exist of course...
what a dilemma...Leave a comment:

Dr nigam,
Do you think your new treatment also protects the hair you still got?
or you still need to take finasteride?Leave a comment:

Aren't you tempted to wait a bit like one more year to see if there isn't something faster, better etc???
especially when someone like Dr Nigam seem so confident in the near future???
Just a question...Leave a comment:

Oh yeah that reminds me - any idea when Dr Hitzig will be doing his bone marrow stem cell injections he said he would have in two weeks time back in January 2011?
Anyone?

Dr. Hitzig did the same just with ACell around 3 years ago and for many many month (lots of interviews and forum posts, ISHRS presentations etc etc).
And now?
Since many many month it's extremely silent around Dr. Hitzig ...
I guess in the meanwhile, many guys don't even know anymore who Dr. Hitzig is and what he did (and perhaps is still doing).
yes you are kind of right, but still let's be open minded...
Things are very simple, Gho is the champion at this moment...if another one is ready or almost ready to take the belt, it's only benefit for us...
I am a Gho defender (not fundamentalist, lol) but I am open to any other breaktrough treatment...
I did not give a penny for minox or finasteride...I have waited for something like Gho and jumped immidiately... now, I can ask you the same question I've asked Arashi, since the three of us got a first HST..
How do you live it? aren't you tempted to wait a bit more to see what's new before doing a second procedure?
I am very tempted by a second, third etc procedure... but also, have that impression that the coming months/ years are promising (might totally be wrong, I know)Leave a comment:

Do your cases, collect the data professionally, and if you have something as good as you think you do, then publish it! That to me will be 100 times greater than just posting individual cases on forums (which is nice, and we all appreciate the updates I am sure).

Very well said !Honestly, Dr. Nigam has a lot of detractors (if you search the internet/this forum even in the past) but as an independent, unbiased guy who obviously wants him to succeed for all of us here, I don't see why he doesn't squash these naysayers by publishing a scientific study in a well-known, published journal.

If this was done, if it was official like Gho's research has been, then I guarantee you everyone and their moms would be going to India to get this done because actual hair multiplication is unheard of and this would spread like wildfire with veritable proof.
But until then, with past reviews of your clinics online, with your forays into selling natural spices for weight loss, with poor photography and documentation at times, you can understand, rightfully or wrongfully, the skepticism. Document many cases for a year, publish the study, and you're golden. I'm cheering for you, we all are I'm sure.Leave a comment:

Dr Nigam please just keep going and ignore all the negative people, I know how it feels when you really have something and nobody believes you - yesterday I posted an email directly from Gail Naughton (Histogen) and hardly anyone believed the email was real - that was until people contacted Gail and confirmed that yes the email was true!
Ignore the negativity and keep going! You have a mountain of people who support you!Leave a comment:

“Throughout the centuries there were men who took first steps down new roads armed with nothing but their own vision. Their goals differed, but they all had this in common: that the step was first, the road new, the vision unborrowed, and the response they received — hatred. The great creators — the thinkers, the artists, the scientists, the inventors — stood alone against the men of their time. Every great new thought was opposed. Every great new invention was denounced. The first motor was considered foolish. The airplane was considered impossible. The power loom was considered vicious. Anesthesia was considered sinful. But the men of unborrowed vision went ahead. They fought, they suffered and they paid. But they won.”
― Ayn Rand, The Fountainhead
I congratulate dr Nigam on great HM results, this clearly is not the case of lighting, combover, FUE, toppik, or any trick for that matter - its clearly seeable in the photo of the back of the head, hairs are nicely growing in the right pattern and filling the scalp.
Both photos are also taken with direct flash light. No room for manipulation here.
These photos are genuine.
Also it's real easy to try to discredit someone on the internet with false statements, there are many motives.
I take everything I read with a grain of salt, especially coming from freaked out bald people (like us).
