    What a crock of garbage.

If that we're true there world be more iPhones than samsungs. Microsoft word word would be our only document editing tool and google docs wouldn't exist.

Patents have already stolen a year of your hair by stalling Histogen.

Whatever you say noob. And by noob I mean here in our forum.

So Nope. 34. Run am open source business watched too many people with MPB suffer.

I'm pretty slim. A little hairy. Balding. Upset about that.

Morally I just try to fight the good fight. You're welcome to your outdated principals and staying bald in America if it makes you feel better.

Ill be heading over to India or wherever makes sense for me personally. The patent holders can get stuffed.

If you'd bothered to do any research before just blabbing away you'd know that skinmedica took Histogen to court over some dumb patent. And lost. But in the process we all lost another year of hair.

So go be a chump somewhere else and bite me

    Slow things down "sometimes"?!?
What planet have you been living on.

One of the most abhorrent things on the planet are drug companies that have had tax payer funding to make cures for things like cancer - and then price them so that only the rich can afford to get well.

Don't get me started on software patents. If you have a patent and don't use a patent you should loose it full stop. Further more it should only last a couple of years to encourage innovation and competition.

In this industry though they can simply get naffed. Patent trolls already delayed Histogen (our closest hope) by a year or more.

Bring on the countries that laugh in the face of American designed IP law.

Oh and where would we be without IP? Ask Microsoft who is getting crushed under the weight of theirs. Look at how companies like google have embraced open source to change the world.

You can keep your archaic and slow patent law and spin on it.

Bring on India! New economies! And a cure for baldness.

What is NEW in the PATENT

The present invention is directed to liquid compositions containing chitosan, a chitosan derivative or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof, forming a film after application onto the scalp and/or the hair, useful for delivery of actives onto the scalp surface and on the hair.

disussed here is, that it uses Chitosan as a vehicle to transport fin to the hair roots. Its not just crushing some tablets and smearing them on your head as some of the smart people here already indicated. The products you posted here wont do the job...

And as I wrote, this is a patent ! No western company can produce this without the allowense of the owner of the patent rights. Maybe some Indian company who dosen`t give a shit to violate those right ...

By the way, in the patent you can read up exectly how that stuff is made, not that compliated ...

    [0021]
A film forming solution having the following composition wt./wt.% was prepared:
    1) Finasteride 0.25%
    2) Ethyl Alcohol 96° 55.00%
    3) Propylene Glycol 5.00%
    4) Hydroxypropyl Chitosan 1.00%
    5) Purified water 38.75%

    Preparation
    [0022]

Ethyl Alcohol, Propylene Glycol and water were mixed at room temperature. Finasteride was then added and mixed until a clear solution was obtained. Hydroxypropyl Chitosan was added as the final ingredient, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 24 hours or until dissolution.

    [0023]

The obtained formulation was a clear and colourless solution, homogenous in appearance even after prolonged storage. Moreover, the liquid was able to form a matte, non-sticky and elastic film, which could strongly adhere to the scalp surface.
    Don't discriminate against Indian companies.

I hope there are countries scattered all over the globe that ignore that patent!!! **** patents. What we want is our hair back!!!

i am wondering if thats healthy for the scalp pores will they become blocked by a film as when it dries it may need you to scrub your scalp when you wash it and therefore destroy any new scalp hair regrowth, also look at topical flutamide it will become systemic when applied and that shows that any drugs will penetrate the scalp skin.
I wonder if topical spironolactone with finasteride added would be a good mix with minoxidil and retina a added for intas to make as in dr klines promox.

Yeah, the other problem with this product is that it's already mixed with minoxidil.

It questions the ability of the product doing its job. I hope that makes sense...

Mainly, because the study is extremely poor. Small sample size, doesn't tell you how they measured to see if patient's had an increase in density or hair per area - it's all very subjective, if that makes sense.

Look up other science journals and notice the difference. The sample size is larger, they go into specifics of how they came up with their data and what not. Granted, the study is a "Phase 4 trial" where we're comparing one product vs something already in the market - it's just not a good strong study.

We want to synthesize a product which will bring hair loss sufferers like myself, a good product that's most importantly both safe and effective, and of course - affordable.

Edit: I hope that my contribution(s) to the forum, activity, talking to others, having uploaded albums will bring credibility to my post. I can understand if I had just signed up yesterday, and this were my first post, ha!

Are the ingredients on the bottle ? I mean I'd love to know what else is in there except the fin+minox of course. Is there HPCH in it ?

BTW the company producing it: http://www.intaspharma.com/index.php...=asc&Itemid=76

Keep in mind that this is 0.1% fin, while the researches in that article I posted used 0.25%
