Aderans and Histogen combined could give some serious results.

Thank u for your reply hellouser, appreciate it.
I think I remember reading Desmond's post about it might not be safe to combine histogen and aderans tho. But who knows since none of these companies gives us a well informed update.

Do u really believe aderans will be out in 2014 tho?

You mean that Dwayne Johnson, which is not bald by the way, is the image people have for the average bald guy?

I think its definitely possible for a 2014 release date, they set that goal themselves and now they only have Phase III trials to worry about which take anywhere from 12-18 months. Application for approval can apparently be done during Phase III as well, so 2014 is doable. I'm hoping for the best though, I'm not betting on it, but only hoping.

Combining Histogen with Aderans should be perfectly fine if both are safe and both have passed Phase I trials (safety). I wouldn't be concerned especially with Aderans as its your own cells youre dealing with. Histogen I'd be a little more concerned about in regards to the growth factors they inject.

It's hard to say, really. Anyone giving you a direct answer would be speculating.

Will Adreans and/or Histogen work for a slick bald head? Any idea?

A 6ft 5 slick bald guy would certainly not look weak in front of 5 ft 8 guy with full head of hair!

No clue, but it doesnt look like it will. I have a gut feeling its going to work best for thinning hair, where vellus hair is still present and is turned into terminal.

                  Correction:

a 6ft 5, 250lb ripped, tanned AND GOOD LOOKING guy....

The example is pretty poor. Thats like saying Roseanne Barr looks better than a bald woman.... yeah, I donno about that.

Initially i was more interested in aderans because i felt it would give great density since that's what they were aiming for, but the recent talk about aderans has somewhat turned me away from them, (the whole 60% respond rate). Do you know if they will be giving an update anytime soon for all the phase II trials they conducted?

I was scared of histogen because they were using all sorts of growth factors and chemicals, and it always takes years for tumors to develop and show up.
But I'm getting more and more desperate with everyday so now i just ignore the growth factor part.

Team tokyo is the one i'm really interested in, but they are soo far off, that i feel like it's waste of energy to think about them at the moment.

Any treatment would be welcoming though.

If that is indeed the case, then hair multiplication/cloning is the only hope for me and my bald brethrens! All my prayers are with you, Gho and Nigam !

My point was that baldness does not signal weakness or lack of strength. Many young men go bald. Its not like wrinkles, which only set in at old age. Secondly, the baldness gene has had a high survival rate, otherwise why so many men are bald/balding? On the other hand the shortness gene is slowly phased out with each passing generation, as men are getting taller. In other words, women don't mind baldness as much as they mind shortness.

In animal world, males fight with each other to get access of the females, and you would notice that the bigger, more powerful male always win. I mean the females do not complain afterwards that the bigger or more powerful male is bald or something like that. They just mate with him.

Should be soon, I can't imagine them not giving a presentation after completing Phase II and moving into the final stage. When that is specifically, I don't know.

Dr. Roland Lauster from Berlin, Germany already grew skin, a follicle and hair in a petri dish from stem cells. Dude already has the cure, there needs to be a strong push for his findings to come to the market. Whats also interesting is that his work was based on finding an alternative to animal testing, and since he did, the EU banned animal testing just recently. Which brings up the question; is Lauster's work now going to be implemented in labs for testing cosmetics, and if so, where is the cure for hair loss sufferers and why are we seen as irrelevant?

I donno, I think women mind baldness more than being short. Lacking identity, youth and a nicely framed face is far worse than missing a few inches (not talking about penis either).

I heard about Dr. Lauster and was really interested. Is he still working on a cure? I heard people tried to contact him, but to no avail. Apparently, hair loss sufferers always have to take the back seat, even to things like wrinkles!

You can still look quite good bald if you have the right face and headshape, maybe not as good as with hair, but not that bad either. Some facial hair can compensate to some extent in framing the face. For example, I don't look good clean shaven, but look quite good with a goatee. On the other hand, if you are 5 ft 4, its really bad.

The problem is that we men think beauty in terms of woman, and a bald woman is certainly not a very beautiful one, but for women, a bald head may not be that big of a turn off if it suits you. If it was, then we would all be sitting here happy with full heads of hair, as the baldness gene would have been long gone!
