Treatments are never coming

I've been looking through these 'future treatment' forums for the last few days.
HSC, PRP, replicel, HST all seem like a huge downer.
Most of them seem like something that'll be way way off in the future, years from now and the one's like gho, who're apparently doing stuff just now, just aren't producing results at all.
I've not seen evidence from any of the newer treatments that they provide cosmetically significant results, nor have I seen evidence the treatments still in trials are going to.
Replicel for example apparently produced a 6.1% increase in velus hair growth over a period of a few months, that's bloody pathetic.
All you guys holding out for some magic bullet, I'm sorry to tell you, but it's not coming any time in this decade and it's certainly not coming from any of these treatments.
A good HT and medical regimen is your ONLY option for the foreseeable future.
EDIT- if anyone can show me any pictures or clinical data that proves me wrong, then I absolutely welcome it!Comment

probably won't be ever cured. but the disguise will get better. imagine nanotech robots engineered as follicles constructing keratin braids, running off of a processor so small you can't see it, and embedded in a transparent graphene skull cap. You 'feed' the cap once a day with a special shampoo that contains the keratin the robots use to manufacture the hair, and it uses solar energy stored in the graphene itself as a rechargeable battery.
Would you still consider yourself bald?
I am computer scientist, I guess I need to start working on that, that is, find the solution for baldness myself, because the medical community doesn't seem to have one coming in my lifetime, LOL!Comment

Its absolutely disgusting how there are so many treatments for so many other things, so much efforts into other areas.... theyve even been able to clone a f*cking sheep, but they can't create a simple f*cking hair follicle?!
Are you f*cking kidding me?!
I gotta say, I love what Bill Hicks said;
Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.Comment

Now, I know that he doesn't refer to hair, but it touches on the quality of life. I'm *furious* with the neglect in this area for guys like us.Comment

Yeah as if the people opposing cloning have such a great history of ethics... usually christians, you know... the war crazy lunatics with their finger on their button. Whatever.Comment

Your clone would, by definition, suffer the same affliction as you so most of his hair would be useless. Plus, He'd probably curse you out for bringing him into this bald riddled existence and then engage you in a battle to the death.Comment

Just pluck out *all* the hairs from his safe area and toss him in the trash.Comment

Cloning an entire organism is a vastly simpler process than cloning a single organ.Comment

True, but you could take 100% of his donor hair, so that would be plenty.Comment

You're not one of them. Actually, you are the exact opposite of competent. I say you go ***** yourselfComment

Guys are there any treatments being produced NOW that you're excited about? I'm looking at Keratene, Capillogain, RU, Bim, and possibly OC. Hopefully Keratene comes through. Really wish they had more info and results but they claim to reduce DHT with no sides. If it can freeze hairloss for a few years I'd be through the roof with jubilation. Capillogain looks like a souped up Rogaine that I'm hearing good things about.
Anything else you guys excited about? There's definitely stuff out there with potential.Comment
