    Questions about Propecia

I've been reading that this drug wears off after a few years. Is this true? If one were to take it for 5 years, then the effectiveness wore off, what the hell is the point?

Is it a viable long term thing to take, or is it only only offering results for 5 or so years, and then wearing off?

I think it's pretty individual. I don't really understand why it would stop working after a certain amount of time but some find that it does. Conversely, there's members here that have been on it for nearly 15 years. I do believe that someone has posted a study where over 80% of participants were above baseline at the ten year mark.
