When does shedding from Big 3 start?

I started using Propecia 5 weeks ago, Nizoral 3 weeks ago, and Rogaine 2 weeks ago. Obviously it's highly probable that I'll shed, but I'm wondering how long after beginning treatment that usually starts. I'm shedding now, but I don't know if it's attributable to the shedding that was happening already, or increased shedding from the meds.

And how bad a hit should I expect my hair to take, temporarily, while I go through the initial shed?

    Thanks!

    Win,

I think shedding is quite different from person to person, I didn't notice any loss I would attribute to the Meds, but I noticed basically NO further loss within 30 days while on 1-mg Fin and Rogaine 5%.

I hope your loss is put into check ASAP, with positive results showing in a few months.

    Best of luck to you...!!

I've read anywhere from 1 month to even month 10 or so. But most i've read had one between month 3-5. The amount of Shed I believe differs.

I started shedding right after the 3rd month or so, my shed has gotten slightly worse around 3 weeks later, so We'll see if positive results come from that.

Ugh, I hate all the unknowns. I've been shedding somewhat heavily--for me, at least--since my transplant in June. I started in the big 3 to get it under control, so it's gonna be tough for me to determine when I'm shedding due to the medications, or if it's just the shedding I was already experiencing. Hopefully the meds will grind most of it to a halt.

And then there's always the prospect of seasonal shedding, or telogen effluvium kicking in from the stress I experienced taking the Bar exam in July...

The sources of hair loss never end, do they?

No pics of the procedure or info such as # of grafts, physician who performed surgery, experience, etc etc

Here's a thread I was maintaining on my surgery.

Hello, all. I've been lurking around here for a few weeks and figured it was time to introduce myself. I'm a 29-year-old in Seattle, and had 1450 grafts via strip with Dr. Niedbalski exactly 7 weeks ago, including PRP and ACell. I consulted with two docs in Seattle, which probably was a bit light, and I'm kicking myself for
