lol he was NW3 with NW6 diffuse pattern. do you think someone with that type of hairloss can look like he does now by just growing their hair a bit longer?

The hair wasn't growing, period, in fact it the little that was left wasn't far from falling out for good. Many people seem to try to belittle the Minox effect with that line of argument(referring to post by "Person"), but let me tell you by experience, they're just plain wrong.

Congratulations! I'm really happy for you and happy that you are happy

I'm not sure if you are on propecia! If you are not, why don't you give it a try. I think you will have a full head of hair

I'm on both regaine and propecia and I'm going to compare my pics that I took 6 months ago with the ones I will take next week. I'm nervous

Wither regard to what person says, I think that to compare pictures, one better try to take the pictures in similar conditions, length of hair, lightning, camera setting, angle...etc in order to have a much reliable comparison.

Though that I think that it's so clear that you have grown some hair. It looks as if you were comparing two set of pictures that were 6 years apart.

            Congratulations again

gives me double the cause to start using it. I'm sadly starting to reconsider fin and i just don't want to. i've developed a stupid irrational 'fear' of fin.

Thanks for the positive messages folks, it has been very good so far, miracoulous? yes considering the lack of growth I had prior to starting the treatment, perfect? nope, because bald spots have remained bald so far, i.e the temples. Give me something that grows my hair on the temples and I'll be a blissful man, but right now I am more than content.

I started Minoxidil September 22nd, if I can get results like yours I'd be happy. My temples aren't too bad, but I have a bald spot on my crown that was iffy before that fully formed during the shed period, but seems to have fuzz back on it.

Here you can see some of the growth caused by the minox on the temples. Yes, it's only a fuzz, but it wasn't there before and it quite helps. Here my hair is wet and combed up instead of down (which can give an apparence of fake hairline).

If you plan to use minox for your crown area I am sure it will give great results, I actually had some shedding on my crown before, not too much though, and now it has improved quite a bit with the minox.

Good results. I did well on minoxidil too. In my opinion, minoxidil is a good first option, and finasteride is the second to last resort; the final option being surgery.
