Thats the case for Allergans Latisse. Latisse has been available for years and is very safe. Latisse for scalp still has to go through clinical trials and is in phase 2. It is the exact same thing in a higher concentration.
So you would think that since its for a new application (hair loss prevention / growth), it would have to be deemed safe/effective in the clinical trials process.Comment

Ever since I heard about this, I've been coming on the forums a lot less.. and thank god! I feel better. Looks like they are going to finally reverse hair loss completetly, and just less than 2 years!!!
fyi, only reason why this is coming to the market asap is because the same protein inhibitor that causes MPB is already released with an Asthma drug. All they have to do is translate it to a lotion, end of baldness.Comment

I do not think thats possible. Don't all drugs have to go through clinical trials/fda approval?
Sure that drug already exists in pill form for asthma, but it has not ever been used for mpb? So wouldnt they need to test that?Comment

They do have to test it, and that's exactly what their doing. They are working close with the pharmaceutical companies to make this happen.
We already know it's safe, chances are it will be for your scalp. Look, they didn't come out saying cure will be out in 5 to 10 years.. they said a little less than 2 years! That's proof they aren't kidding around.Comment

Not to be a downer, but this all sounds too good to be true. What about the potential off side effects? And would this lotion have to be used for the rest of your life?Comment
