    any advice for shedding?

i have been on propecia for over one year now--started last may--shortly after starting i experienced a shedd. i could not say for sure if it was caused by propecia or the fact that every summer i shedd like crazy. my latest shedd started once month ago and since then i have easily been losing 150-200 hairs a day. i know all the literature out there says the best one can do is simply "ride it out," but i was hoping some of you had tips or things you did to help lessen the severity and length of the shedding phase? is biotin a good idea?

maybe 1 oz of aloe juice mixed wit 12 drops of garlic oils and 7 drops of rosemary oil. aloe vera and garlic help reduce shed. rosemary oil helps stimulate hair growth. garlic oil smells bad! rosemary oil over powers the garlic smell whicj is a good thing!
