The "Holy Grail"? Probably not, depending on what you define the "Holy Grail" to be - but it could lead to more effective treatment.

The science is very positive, but even Cotsarelis (the man who discovered the connection) admits that it's not a sure thing. One day, a cure will come, so there is no reason to discount it before we even really get to see what it can do. But in the same vein, it's a little optimistic to throw around terms like "Holy Grail" before we see what it can do.
