Hey man, I'm not choosing side.
Ok, I get it. You fought. Now can you both make up, shake hands and act your age again?^^

Anyway, they told me after a year, that if I didn't take fin and minox, I would be bald in 2 years. (This was in 2010).

We are now well into 2012 and I am far from it. *touch wood*

Total scam artists, they were forcing me to use both minox and fin, and dismissed any notion of sides, mature hairline etc

I once had a hobby/business than I co-owned with a girl and Tracy reminds me of her. I would just be teasing her and she would get all upset and think I was really trying to be mean to her. This went on for quite a awhile but eventually I learned to be more careful with my jokes/what I said to her and she learned that I really was just kidding and didn't have to worry I was out to get her. From then on out things went great between us. She also later told me why she was like this and it involved some pretty nasty stuff in her childhood.

Even though its easy to see you are just taunting her a bit, she may see it as a bit more of a threat.

Don't like the sexist tone to a lot of these posts. I imagine most of us men are just as sensitive as women, hence us being here. No need for the hostility really.

First on the right side, after a few months the left and eventually they connect in the center.

          Something like this?

Yeah mine looks somewhat similar. My hairline is still more or less intact like yours, just rapidly developing thin patches across my scalp. Mines at the stage where its fine in certain light but ties my stomach in knots under harsh ones.

Did propecia halt the shedding, or make it worse initially? Any regrowth?

Wouldn't call them scam artists as such, but yeah they're definitely capitalising on peoples vulerability. It's pretty rife in this type of industry, just have to look at the internet ads to see the abundance of 'miracle' cures for every single insecurity.

Suppose its a consequence of a capitalist society. If there's money to be made, **** the ramifications. Nice to hear you didn't fool for it though.

Hey mate. I am suffering from diffuse thinning as well. Mine is oriented on top of the scalp all over. Not pleasant I might add. You might be having MPB but in conjuction with something else as well. I do advise going to a doctor, dermatalogist. Actually go to atleast 2 or 3 of them. Second opinion and such.
            Good luck.

The problem is a lot of these women tend to dish out shit, and then when it is thrown back at them, they get all fitty and emotional about it. Just be nice, and if somebody disagrees, be polite about it. Everyone here is already pissed off that they are losing or lost hair. And so are sensitive about it.

I remember the whole mature hairline argument, for like 5 posts she was talking to me in a patronising manner. So, I returned the favor, and now she is playing the victim.

Recently saw a post of hers where with 2020 she literally pasted in an image of "dunce" to highlight that they are both are idiotic.

Or is he? In the interview Ziering stated only one test subject was from LA. It's not like he's adverse to taking chances -- didn't he start minox and fin before they were approved to treat baldness? It just seems like it'd be a great advantage for his show and us listeners, not to mention for his own benefit. Granted, it

              (here)

              Hillarious tbh.

Yes I was around for that debate. Remember I even said she came on too strong with you. And no she shouldn't call you a fool because you disagree with her. She shouldn't get upset with anyone that simply disagrees with her. But the other night you guys seemed (to me) to be ganging up on her and perhaps taking a bit too far as it seemed to be really bothering her.
If she throws a rock, throw it back..just don't shoot her with a machine gun.
If her posts bother you that much, just ignore them.

I don't always agree with her but I do think she is right about the existence of the mature hairline. I did not know it at the time, but pretty sure I had one for awhile till mpb started. I later read about it from various hair docs, so that is why I believe it. But it's really not that big of a deal anyway-not worth getting upset about it.

Only because your hairline receeded a bit and then stopped does not mean that you didnt have mpb.

A true mature hairline is one that matures and stays that way for life. This is often not the case due to mpb being progressive.

Thanks Tracy, found out there was a Hair & Scalp specialist near me and booked an appointment. Still convinced its MPB but I suppose this way will remove all doubt.

                      Cheers

In a situation such as yours, it is best to be sure because the cause is not obvious one way or the other.

Just to be very clear about it. I did not call him or others fools because they disagreed with me, I don't really care if anyone agrees with me or not. I did so because those guys do not pay attention and they are wantonly ignoring the obvious.

I will not address the matter any further. I will continue to try to help others as best I can. However, if these guys continue to derail my attempts to help, I will abandon further effort.

Well I don't think it wasn't that they were not paying attention, they just didn't agree with you (or me). And when you started the name calling they realized it irritated you and decided to push your buttons. And from what I saw, they were doing a pretty good job and that is why I said I thought they were going a bit too far with it.

Don't let these kind of posts get to you. If one gets under your skin and you want to start using those words again, just walk away from your keyboard for 10 min and cool off. Will do wonders for your blood pressure

Hahahahahahahahahaahahahaha. Its just an internet forum tracy, get over yourself.

Youre filling in a void in your life and seeking validation to mask your depression, stop acting as if you're mother theresa. Maybe then people will stop attacking you.

What you need to understand is that people are here for different reasons. Theres ALOT of guys, many in their 20s, here to find a new treatment so they dont have to go on fin and risk growing boobs and getting a limp tool. Esepcially when they know theyll soon be a nw6. That also affects their views on future treatments.

The drama that surrounds you is pathetic. Get a life, or just get a job.
