Hey fellow-sufferers,
I need some advice. I'm 23, never really committed to taking propecia long-term (I have taken it intermittently). Recently I started to take 1 Propecia pill EOD. I've stopped, because I have got cognitive sides, but no sexual sides (interestingly, I have never had any real sexual sides with propecia before, but when I combined it with an anti-depressant on this last round I noticed a huge drop in libido- no sex drive at all). I've stopped both. Sex drive back to normal, still waiting for the migraine/fog to.
I'm smart, and the cognitive sides, which I definitely have, are very distressing to me. I want to go on to do a PHD in History. However, I don't want to lose my hair.
All I want to do is maintain my sides and back hair (I've lost too much on top and I use hairpieces). So, my question is, along with an extremely healthy diet, and the fact I only want to preserve hair, not regrow, how far can I space out propecia/proscar treatment and what is the lowest dose? twice a week at 1mg of propecia? or can I go lower?
