Does anyone use Nizoral alternatives (Dandrazol etc)?

This may be more aimed at people in the UK (where these products I mention are available), but has anyone tried the other Ketoconazole 2% shampoos available on the market, such as the Boots own-brand keto shampoo, or Dandrazol?

I've never heard of any other brand of shampoo that contains Ketoconazole. I would think if the active ingredient is the same, the shampoo itself should work the same.

I had wondered that, but I checked the list of (other) ingredients on the packaging, and they were all different from each other bar the inclusion of 2% keto. Perhaps that may subtly affect the effectiveness of the active ingredient, who knows?

I have a feeling that as long as the product genuinely contains 2% keto, it will still work.
I probably would stick to the Nizoral brand, but I'm just paranoid like that.

Heh, me too really. I'd rather pay the extra 65 pence or whatever to get the Nizoral brand "just in case".
