It is really nice to see that Merck is a platinum level donor for financing the ISHRS meeting. As the topic of the permanent side effects from Propecia will be on the agenda this year, it is really nice to see that there will be a neutral venue for the exchange of ideas.

Any chance that there will be video recordings available of the lectures? It would be cool to hear status updates from some of the emerging treatments.

Thanks a lot for posting this. The one thing that frustrates me though is that the vast majority of these topics are various applications of hair transplantation, despite the fact that many people like myself are desperately looking for ways to regrow hair without permanent head scarring. So therefore, I would be most eager to hear from Drs. Washenik, Ziering, and Greco, esp. Dr. Ziering. I notice that Replicel wasn't there, maybe because none of those guys perform hair transplant surgery.

Thanks for the link. I hope at least some of these presentations become available for us to see. I am particularly interested in the two-year follow up from Histogen. If they've continued to grow hair up to the two-year mark that would be truly ground-breaking, or even if it's stabilised since one year that would be a great result.

If it's declining again we'll know Histogen is going to have to be at least an annual occurrence (unless perhaps if you're taking fin...).

Also interested to see if Washenik has anything new to report, and Farjo's bimatoprost trial. I suspect the latter will show similar results to minox which is what we've been hearing from the Latisse dose. We will have to wait for Allergan's results to know if any increased dose can help.

I would also be interested in seeing the power point presentations, or some kind of summary. Would that be possible? Even for a fee? (not sure who I am asking, just putting out there that I am willing to buy the proceedings, or whatever)

              Spencer's show

Hey, was just wondering if the ISHRS meeting was even mentioned on Spencer's show on Sunday (09/18/11) I don't ever get round to listening to it but I haven't seen any mention on the forum. It kinda surprises me because I thought it woulda been the hot topic for this week. It's a real shame Spencer or a representative of him couldn't have gone and relayed info back to the forum.

It would be really good if maybe Dr. Ziering could post something concerning his talk that he gave on the progress of Histogen and maybe touch of other points of interest. I know he's a busy man but he's made time for the forum before. Likewise Dr. Cooley or Dr. Greco, they both gave presentations too.

Oh well, guess we'll just have to wait ages until bits and pieces leak out.
