Over the past year, I've spent an incredible amount of time researching hair loss treatments.
Like many people, I started with the obvious questions:
Should I choose FUT?
Should I choose FUE?
Which clinic gets the best reviews?
But eventually I realized I was asking the wrong question.
Instead of comparing clinics, I started comparing the technologies themselves.
That's when I came across HST (Hair Stem Cell Transplantation) by HASCI.
What immediately caught my attention was that, according to HASCI, HST is designed to work differently from conventional hair transplantation.
Traditional FUT and FUE procedures relocate complete follicular units from the donor area to the recipient area. While these techniques have helped many patients achieve excellent results, they also rely on a finite donor supply.
HST takes a different approach.
According to HASCI, instead of removing an entire follicle, the procedure partially extracts a single hair follicle containing regenerative cells. The transplanted portion is used to restore hair in the recipient area, while the remaining portion in the donor area is intended to regenerate. HASCI describes this process as in vivo hair multiplication (hair cloning).
That concept completely changed the way I looked at hair restoration.
For me, the key question is no longer:
"How many grafts can be moved?"
It's:
"How can the donor area be preserved for the long term?"
As someone who understands that hair loss often progresses over many years, that philosophy makes a great deal of sense.
Another question people often ask is the cost.
A simple estimate is approximately €2 per effective hair, meaning that a treatment resulting in around 5,000 effective hairs is generally in the region of €10,000, although every treatment plan is tailored individually by the clinic after a medical assessment.
After doing my own research, I decided to become a HASCI Ambassador because I believe this technology deserves to be better known.
If you decide that HST is the right treatment for you after consulting with the clinic, you can use my personal referral code: ABATE10
Receive 10% OFF your treatment.
If you use my referral code, I'd genuinely appreciate hearing about your experience.
Whether your feedback is positive, mixed, or critical, sharing real patient experiences helps everyone make better-informed decisions.
I'm not here to tell anyone what treatment to choose.
I'm here because I believe patients deserve to understand all the available options before making one of the most important decisions in their hair restoration journey.
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Has anyone here undergone HST?
How does it compare with your experience of FUT or FUE?
