14 weeks down, starting to really get noticebale results on my way from a NW3 to a NW2...unbelieveble.

I am starting to hate the feeling of always having the foam in my hair, its really not that bad, but my hair never feels clean with it in there...however small price to pay...If these results continue to improve ill write a love letter to johnson and johnson

I'm happy for you dude. I must have been discouraging at first but thats great to hear that youre actually getting noticeable results. I recently started Fin about a month ago, i hoping it does the trick.

How long does a bottle last you?

Did you know you are supposed to message the medicine into your scalp, not simply put it in your hair? I know that may sound like a stupid question - but you would be surprised to know how many people do not know that.

When I was using the foam I never had that problem. I did stop using the foam as my hair grew longer though. Long hair made it more difficult to get the medicine down onto my scalp.

Your questions do not make sense to me... However...

When I was using the foam, the bottle lasted 30 days like it is supposed to. So no, I wasn't using too much foam. My hair just got longer thats all.

The regular "bought from the store" generic Minoxidil liquid is working for me and it doesn't bother me. So why should I switch to something else?

Hey tracy, i fly through bottles, abt one every 2 weeks. My hair is not short so ita difficult to get it on the scalp, thats why i use so much, to make sure the scalp gets it and its not just on the hair

Your description in your previous posts sounds like you are getting more of the medicine in your hair than on your scalp. Have you tried putting the foam in a little bit at a time down your part? Before I stopped using the foam, that helped - until my hair was down to my shoulders. Now my hair is just too long to use the foam. The liquid gets down in there much easier.

yeah i do it down the part but it gets all over the place and then i go nuts applying it! I dont want to start adding less since i am getting pretty good results now

heynow1234, have any of those new hairs gone terminal yet?

I'm on fin + minox 2% since October 1. I'm just trying to maintain and get some thickness back on my hairline. NW2/3 **** dunno, no baldness except hairline going to shit but I hide it pretty well with an expensive haircut hehe.

Yes stick with it! Im approaching 4 months and my hair has def improved, a bunch of the vellus hairs now have color too. I didnt really notice much of a diff in my hair till about 2 1/2 weeks ago and now it seems to get better each week. If its like this at around 15 weeks i can only imagine (hope) what it will be like at the end of the year. So far Rogain foam has completly blew away my expectations.

Hey guys so 16 weeks in! Well i can say Rogaine is working, is my hair greatly improved?...no....is there visible improvement...yes. Its def working thicker healthy hair and areas around my temples are filling in. I still have a ton of new little hairs that are changing colors. So I am happy so far with the results I know most people just start to see first signs of growth at this point and then best growth at 12 months...so everything looks good so far.

Hows everyone else who has been participating in this thread doing?

Cool heynow! As for me, the sparse centre parting I have had for ages is definatley seeing small dark hairs pushing through. Not enough to shout about but there's signs nonetheless-so I'm optimistic and shall carry on indefinitely now. I do think it's helping existing hairs grow as well, not much shedding going on compared to the initial blitz on my temples and hairline.
