Just got the topikk stuff. Works amazing. Doesn't look like I'm balding. I washed it off right away, and cried.

I'm not ready to accept I'm losing my hair, nor do I want to be dependent on concealers. I don't know what to do. I can't handle hair loss.. I can't.

So what shade did you end up buying?
It's great that you were satisfied with it. You don't really have to be dependent on it, you can just use it on special occasions instead of every day and use it together with your hair loss regimen.

Black... I only put a little, its like my crew fiber styling stuff I use...it adds a little density...I don't want to be dependent on caking it on... but hair cloning is a minimum of 5 yrs away, so I can deal with concealers for the time being. And yes hair cloning is close, I don't care about any negative feedbacks out there, its my only hope

I don't cry when I wash Toppik off, but it is sad to wash it off and go back to reality. It's like you feel guilty because you know you're fooling everyone around you.

But don't feel too bad, women get fake hair, fake noses, fake breasts, fake butts, fake lips, not to mention they put 100 pounds of make up on their face, etc just to impress us men and to get compliments from men. You're only putting a little bit of powder on your head, compare that to the long list I just mentioned.

Last year I went to a really nice resort in the Caribbean with my family, a nice 5 star resort. I took my Toppik with me and no hats. I can't believe how relaxed I was, knowing i'm covering my only flaw in appearance. I had a lot of fun and a good time, i'm not one to get in to beaches or pools other than just up to my belly, so getting wet was not a problem for me. I wasn't nervous about any one thinking i'm going bald, I was confident, it was great. I wish I can get my hair back so that feeling would feel more 'real' and in the back of my head I wouldn't be thinking of Toppik.

Does Toppik work with messy hair styles? I guess it's suited to crew cuts best?

I did not sport a crew cut while on Toppik.

I heard that Toppik tends to come out or stream down your face when you sweat. Is this true?

Yeah man, no problem. Just a Yankee fan helping out a BoSox fan

You might see a hot chick on TV, she might have nice big breasts, and a nice little nose, chances are they're not hers to begin with. Sure they can be natural, but you gotta realize how common this is among women.

You're just doing the least you can do for yourself. It's not like you're surgically repairing your chest to look like Hulk Hogan or doing surgery on your face to look like Brad Pitt.

I'm not gonna lie, it is uncomfortable to have Toppik on in real hot weather. But it has to be really hot.

It can stream a little bit down your head but not your face, I think that's an exaggeration. Just have napkin on you or a piece of cloth when you go out in really hot weather, you can simply pat it away.

Everything has it's side effects, even Toppik. And at the end of the day, this sweating thing will only happen if you use too much Toppik. If you use a little bit, this wouldn't happen.

I gotta say when I tried dermmatch I felt like a complete fraud. My hair loss hadn't even really become too noticeable to others but I felt better when I had washed it out. That's partly why I decided not to use it. That and becoming dependent on it.

After two HTs and discovering toppik for myself I'm finally content with my hair.

Thank you Dr. Ross (San Diego)
