I know there are some people who have taken dutasteride, successfully or otherwise, on this forum. I've been on dutasteride for 1.5 months and knew about the risks involved including the long half life. Then I read that the effects could be irreversible (http://www.businessweek.com/lifestyl...ay/650709.html).
Damn.
I don't really have any side effects now, but I'm worried that new ones could develop as I grow older. Studies cease measuring symptoms when a patient discontinues the drug, but I know there are users on the board who stopped? For the people who had bad reactions and quit- are you still suffering from the same side effects now? How long did you take the dutasteride for? For those who are still on avodart and had side effects in the beginning of treatment- are the side effects still present? Also, stating your approximate age would help too.
