    Timeframe for Propecia effect?

    Hello,

I started taking propecia about one week ago and actually noticed a decrease in the hair I was losing. My question is, what is the general time frame for these two things...

    1. Slowing down hair loss
    2. Propecia "shed"

That meaning, when did these two things generally start, and are they different for everyone? (I'm assuming so but would like some clarification). Thanks in advance for your help, im losing hair and it's driving me mad =(...

    -Max

I am also using this shampoo called Nexxus VitaTress Biotin Shampoo and Nizoral twice a week. Have any of you heard of the Nexxus shampoo?

do you know what propecia is?

please, read up on this medicine. this is not a vitamin for your hair. this is something that shuts down di-hydro-testosterone, which is the most active form of testosterone in your body, and does lots of other things besides make your hair fall out. it will alter the testoterone/estrogen ratio in your body, boosting your estrogen levels. the drug company spins this story that dht is only in the skin, but it acts everywhere in the body. at this time, nobody in their right mind should be taking this medicine given what is coming out in the medical literature.
