my thoughts so far on topical spiranolactone

so far, i think its no better than a salt pill

I've been using it now for 2 weeks once a day with no results what so ever. I think the med sucks because either 2% isnt a high enough concentration, or that the drug doesnt penetrate the skin enough to make a difference

I could try testing it twice daily.....but this med is supposed to be so powerful by itself, so overall, this drug is a fail

Hair grows at about half an inch a month. Many hairs are also in a resting phase. It normally takes about 6 months to see a result with a product and if you have such a lack of patience, you'll never use anything for long enough for it to do the job.

sorry i should have been more specific. I started testing it on my hair but then I saw hair fall out after the first day, so I decided to test it on my acne. Two weeks now, its it actually has made my face MORE red and my skin MORE oily. Sebaceous glands are more superficial than hair follicles one would think...........so if it aint working on my acne, the cream doesnt stand a chance for my hair

        lol

Every single acne product ive tried has made my acne worse for awhile before it got better.

All hair loss products take a long time before you can judge their efficacy.

You are being too critical, too early.

Spiro(with finasteride) has helped me maintain my hairline for months now. I recently added fluridil also though.

            I use the 5% lotion

I think it's just way easier to use. I use it on the hairline. It's extremely easy to use and also won't smell as much as the drops.

It's the easiest hair loss product I use...and I use a lot of crap. Well I guess finasteride is the easiest...this probably second. Really quick and easy. I like how it feels also
