I'm guessing there are other people like me who are on the lookout for people with hair transplants. I'd never really seen a really bad FUE until the other day and concluded a bad FUE is the worst of all possible outcomes. In this case the donor area was all thinned out, the growth on top was little to speak off except for a noticeably pluggy looking hairline. In this case it would appear there were no options for this person to repair what had been done.
I've seen bad FUTs before but at least in that scenario the damage is typically confined to one strip of the donor zone, leaving the rest of the zone intact. The damaged donor area can then be filled in and there is still donor hair left to work with to cover bad work on top. But with a bad FUE the donor is exhausted and there is nothing left to work with.
A bad FUE or FUT is obviously not desirable. Likely, the best solution to baldness is to simply accept it but for those of us who have chosen the Hair Transplant path, I've concluded a bad FUE is the worst possible situation. My condolences to anyone who has experienced this.
