When is the best time to go for HT after starting on Finasteride? I heard there is some shedding when you start taking Finasteride because the stronger hair pushes the weak hair out. My point is that it's probably best to go for a HT after you have taken Finasteride for at least a year, is that correct? Or one should not take finasteride before HT as to not leave potential natural hair that can be lost later.
any insights?

If you want a lower dose you need to ask feuclinic for a lower dose or is it not possible?Leave a comment:

Hey mustang.
Interresting story. I had horrible sides on fina. And like you even worse on the topical. Maybe i will give this a try. To lower the dose from 1% to 0.05% you use 0.5ml? Or am i wrong?
Ps Nice to see Someone beat the side affectsLeave a comment:

Thanks for the reply mate. Glad to hear it's working for you! Could you please tell me how often do you apply it?Leave a comment:

I did at 0.5% and 0.25% but not at 0.1% and 0.05%
Hair loss is stable and not affected by the lower dose, sides are gone
My suggestion don't use anything stronger than 0.1%Leave a comment:

Hey Mustang, hope you're well.
Just wondering if you're still keeping up with it? Did you run into any sides?

Dr Mwamba has made Topical Dutasteride available (0.1%, 60ml)
You just need to email info@fueclinic.com and they will forward the prescription to the pharmacy and ship to you.
55 euros for 0.1% , bottle lasts 2 months if applying 1ml daily.
I apply 2ml to cover all the scalpLeave a comment:

Hey man, awesome man. ive had the same experience as you trying oral finasteride. also libido dropping to a halt.... i just ordered something like you said, t0day, but im google searching everything, even with ncbi im not finding much data. mine was regrowth labs. but now im hearing stuff about how the compound wont absorb without microneedling
...so, im not asking you to be specific here, but if you have any tips on better formulas, or whatnot, and you get a moment could you pm me advice. ill do my own diligence. i have no idea if that feature even exists here (pm'ing). ive always just stuck to fitness boards like outlawmuscle or promuscle for "fitness" needs....but no use being that fit if you have no hair
. im early stages.
Also, happy to hear its working for you man. results look great.
I've ordered a product from the same lab containing 0.1% dut, 0.1% ocytocin, 7% minox and 1.65% horse placenta.
I've started to apply the product two days ago WITHOUT microneedling/dermaroller but I already experience some sides.
Don't know if it's from dut or ocytosin, but that says one thing : compounds with molar mass higher than 500 g/mol can also be absorbed and get vascularized to some extend.Leave a comment:

Hey
I had horrible brain fog with oral finasteride and horrible (much worse) brain fog with Topical Finasteride. It sucked big time. Lethargy as well.
This is not only because of les DHT but also les Test. Remember Fin increases estrogen thus affecting total test production.
I had none of these sides with Topical Dutasteride. None. It's the first time a treatment works for me.
Plasma DHT reduction was only 15%Leave a comment:

Sorry David, I have just seen this.Hi Mustang,
Thanks for posting about the Topical solution of Dutasteride. I assume you get it from Dr. Emorane Lupanzula and Medikemos Hair Restoration in Brussels Belgium. I'm currently on oral dutasteride gels + minoxidil and it works pretty well. I have a few questions.
1. Is the topical dutasteride from Lupanzula produced by Farmacia Parati? I've seen that topical finasteride container from Parati is similar to the ones Lupanzula offering on his website.
2. Are you using the 0,5% or 1% version ? with or without the added power of minoxidil 5%?
3. And the last question is perhaps the most important. When you use topical dutasteride on the thinning areas like crown hairline and temples, is that also helping for any diffuse thinning other places on the scalp? the oral sort of works all over in terms of getting the inflammation and thickening all over. Is it the same with topical?
Really appreciate if you reply. Considering making the move from oral to topical later this year.
Best,
David
1.- No, I get it compounded by another pharmacy in Europe. I did use it but at 1% it was overkill so I now use 0.1% or 0.05%
2. 2ml of 0.05% once a week
I only use it on my crown and zone 3. My hairline is transplanted so no point.
You should 100% give it a try, I measured scalp and plasma DHT and the results are amazingLeave a comment:

Cause I have too much total and free testosterone thus I thought it would be wise to increase it even further.Leave a comment:
