Im losing my hair since year 2011,and now im 25 years old with horrible thinning on crown and front..I didnt lose very amount of hair but they somewhat get miniaturized.Dermatologist gave me prescription for propecia year ago,but i didnt buy it,because i was fearing of side effects. Now im getting really desperate and anxious i feel i couldnt get out because of hairloss. My Father is nw5 age 51,and grandfather on mother side is nw4 at age 75..I dont expect miracles just want to regrow crown and front a bit.Im in good shape, gym 4x week and 3x cardio.
Can propecia regrow my hair on crown and front?

Get on fin 0.25mg, minoxidil and nizoral. you'll probably grow half of it back. If you get sides, cut the pills in half until you don't. Chances are with 0.25mg you won't. Studies say about 5% get sides with 1mg. 0.25mg blocks 85% as much DHT and the amount with sides is lower than 2%. -
Well 0.25mg blocks around 60%, 0.5 around 67% and 1 around 70% of DHT. Honestly start low and go up if you don't get initial sides.Comment

Yeah brand is expensive, but if you're cutting them into quarters 150€ a year ain't too bad. I'd take it over the generic.Comment

I heard that generic can cause more sides that brand Propecia,im not 100% sure of this but some people told me that. One of my Friend also take brand for 2 months(1mg) and he hasnt any sides. He gets somewhat fatter around the waist but he said because of junk food.Comment

Would depend on exactly what the particular generic constituted. Legally it has to be 90% the same. Taking brand and sticking to it is the way to go I'd say, especially if you're splitting it into quarters. I initially tried 1mg and got REALLY bad sides after one pill that lasted a week. Been on 0.25mg and had no problems. Contrary to typical comments, my sex drive and semen volume has drastically INCREASED.Comment

Thats nice to hear! But what about your hair on this dose(0,25mg) do u regrow some,or just maintain? What sides do u had with 1mg? I think that i have very high levels of androgen in my body because im very hairy even on shoulders and something on back,so blocking of some Dht should not be an issue for me or?Comment

Last 12 months I have used HR23 hairloss supplement along with 2% Nizoral, Pura d'Or Shampoo, 320 mg of 90% fatty acid saw palmetto, 500mg of pumpkin seed OIL and maintained very well. I noticed a tiny bit more receeding on the hairline this month and decided to move to 0.25mg of fin.
My hair is long but a year ago one of my mates mentioned I was thinning at the top when I bent over to tie my shoe. He recently commented that it had grown back. Was probably just the lighting, but I assume if natural DHT blockers work this well that 0.25mg fin should work wonders. I'm also getting on Lipogaine minoxidil.Comment

If you want serious regrowth definitely use minoxidil and Nizoral 2% (once a week) alternated with a decent DHT blocking shampoo like Pura D'or Gold + the 0.25mg of propecia. Vast majority would at least maintain with that regime, wouldn't be surprised if you got 12 months worth of losses or more back from it. I've seen examples where people have gone from seemingly skin head on the top to having good coverage. You wouldn't get back to how it was 3 years ago, but you'd probably be happy with the results anyway.
Will be easy for you to tell early on how its going with your hair short too. Also makes it easier to apply minox.Comment

Crown and top is much easier to regrow too. If you want to restore your front completely you'd probably need a transplant.Comment

Yeah, thanks for good advice! I have nizoral 1% at home and i will definetly add minox and propecia soon.Yes im planning to do hair transplant in future when my hairloss stabilize and regrow some IF.Some people told me that HT is foolish without propecia so i will try this first.I dont even know at which stage will my baldness going but im sure that im destinated to full Nw6.Comment

I'm baffled as to why this is getting so many serious replies without any comment on that third f'n picture hahaComment
