Only About a Week on Minoxidil and I've Already Got...

I've been on Kirkland 5% Minoxidil for just a little over a week now and I've already begun to notice very thin white hairs that are growing near my temple.

Is this a good sign? And does this mean that the Minoxidil is working and this is the beginning signs of new hair about to grow? Moreover is it even possible to begin growing these tiny white hairs in just about a week? Has this been heard of before or have any users on this forum experienced this as well? I'm cautious about prematurely celebrating...

Also because it's only been a week I haven't really noticed the dreaded shed. Is that bound to happen later on then?

I never got a shed. I noticed new hairs at around 2.5mon.

Those little white hairs never developed for me. Hope you have better luck
