    Long term minox

How do we know the long term efficacy of minoxidil? There has been one long term study showing maintainencd and even regrowth at 5 years!

There are millions and millions of men that use rogaine worldwide... How do we know that just the people that haven't responded well to minox come here and complain of its lack of long term efficacy?

I have had 3 doctors tell me minox can maintain hair for a while, not forever, but a long time (4-8) years.

It's capable of it yes. If using only minox make sure you put it all over your scalp and not just the weak areas. I used 1.5 cans a month.

Everyone responds differently to minox, the only way to know is to try it for at least 6 months.

I just refuse to believe minoxidil could only
Keep hair for 1-2 years. Why would it be such a staple in hair loss? Why wouldn't Every doctor say it loses effectiveness? Once again, I have been to THREE doctors and they ALL said it can work for a long time. What am I missing? The fact that 3-5% of users come and complain about its long term efficacy in hair loss forums? I just don't get it. How can we claim it doesn't work long term WHEN WE DO NOT EVEN KNOW HOW IT WORKS!?

It's not guaranteed to even work for all men, even finasteride doesn't work long term in all men.

Right and I get that... But for me I think it's working. If it does work, that's what I'm arguing. If it does work it then why wouldn't be effective for years

It might, worth trying. Take pics and keep tabs.
