Is Minox Shed the same end result as shock loss?

after a HT? ie. it won't come back in some cases. Can Minox on a diffuse head of hair make you lose the rest of the hairs you have around the ones you're trying to get back?

Minoxidil shedding is different for everyone. Some lose alot of their hair, and some don't expierence it. To answer your question, nobody knows. The hair you shed usually come back after ~3 months, but they can also get damaged and not grow back. Haven't experienced myself, just read it somewhere.

While it depends per person, it's can be worth it. Look at it this way, you can use minox and shed hair in the first couple of months that makes you seem balder. Or you can not use minox, and lose those hairs eventually.

To answer your question on the liquid vs foam variant. They are both just as strong, both contain 5% minoxidil. The difference is that the foam gets absorbed way quicker than the liquid one. If you use the liquid it will stay on your head for some hours before it dries, and the dried peel can then get of your scalp and look like dandruff. The foam isn't that ideal for long hair though, since you need to put in directly on the scalp without hairs blocking the way.

            My opinion:
Morning: foam, so it dries quick and you can go to school/work.
Evening: foam, same reason. But you can also use the liquid, since you're going to sleep.

Again they both do the same, it's just what you find handier.

            Good luck!
