Has anyone had any experience with dutasteride when fin hasn't worked? At one year on fin I must have had a reflex and major androgen production.. Hair got oily, MASSIVE SHEDDING, excelerated balding, all that good stuff. I've been now shedding a consistent 40ish hairs showering and 40 drying off.. This has been going on since November. I was going to give it one last go with dutasteride, but before I risk another reflex, I'd like to know how the sebum production is from people with experience.. I believe this has a lot to do with why I'm losing hair..

I don't know about DUT of FIN but if you are trying to lower your sebum... taking cold showers will lower sebum production in the scalp. Hot water will increase it because it drys the scalp, signaling the need for sebum production. I used to have very oily hair, cold showers have helped me keep the sebum in check... and no more dandruff.
