How much regaine/rogaine should I apply to my temple?

How much regaine/rogaine do you think I should apply to my temple?

I'm thinking of applying less than 0.5g of foam (rather than 1g as it says on the package), but would that be enough since it's just the temple?

Rogain foam works on hairlines if it doesn’t have already dead follicles. I did us foam in past, I applied it to my scalp just after wetting it and only slightly patting with a towel so it was still very damp, not dripping though. I can’t really advise on dosage but its best to stick to what they have mentioned. I had used one cupful because I had long hair and it was difficult to manage with anything lesser. Use your fingertips to lightly spread it all over where you want it. Don’t expect results anytime soon. In fact, the hairline, temples, and even the front half for some reason is more resistant to meds than the crown/vertex area. Some get tremendous results while others have no results.
