I just wanted to add my two cents with regards to Propecia versus Generic Fin.
A few years back I switched from Propecia to Generic Fin to save some cash. Immediately I went from no hair on my hands during shampooing to 50+ in one sitting. 6 Months later I lost almost half my density. I went back to Propecia and regained the entirety of my losses.
Recently in Sept of 2014 I gave doctors prescribed Generic Fin another try. As of today I have once again lost nearly 50% of my density on top.
I have no idea what the difference is, as from what I'm aware they're the same thing. In any case I just wanted to give an FYI to anyone using Fin to stick with what works. Obviously there is some slight difference that alters its efficacy depending on the person.
