I’ve been taking it since 1998. I’ve had no side effects and have only very slowly progressed in all of these years. Still can pull off a decent looking head hair.
Here’s my story that I posted a few years ago. Things are still holding pretty well. Best thing I ever did for myself! https://www.baldtruthtalk.com/showth...-and-thank-you

And I checked out your thread...One of the best transplants I have seen.
Why dont' you agree with these "over the internet" doctors then?

Ignore the anti propecia troll above. He spends his days and nights spreading his anti propecia message across various hair loss websites and youtube. He most likely has numerous accounts on all of these websites and has conversations with himself to make it seem like there are many guys out there that are suffering like he supposedly has. Most likely he was just scared away from treating his hair loss and wants others to suffer the way he currently is. He gives absolutely no hair loss advice whatsoever. His only purpose is to scare guys into not treating their hair loss.

I notice on this website you cite that no actual statistics are cited, only general statements. Here's a legitimate, reliable web source, the National Institute of Health, and a discussion of actual scientific studies:

"A number of studies have looked at the problem of side effects caused by finasteride.[6–11] These studies which are discussed below reveal that sexual adverse effects occur at the rates of 2.1% to 3.8%..."

The truth is, there are of course several possible negative side effects. Your argument is correct in that. However, we need to discuss their frequency to make this discussion relevant, and the fact is, they occur at very small rates.

He really doesn't care about truthful statistics. His method of operation is to hijack threads with his anti propecia propaganda and leave. His statements or started threads usually have very little evidence or facts to support his claims. Again, he isn't here to help anybody, just scare men away from treating their hair loss.
