    hair loss shampoo; dht blocker

    hello,

been using propecia for approx 16 months. unfortunately it has not stopped the hair loss, perhaps has slowed it down, but my hair is getting pretty thin. was wondering if anyone has ever tried any dht blocker shampoos. i saw one called nizim or something and then there is revivogen.

do any of these work, or would anyone recommend using one in addition to the propecia?

    thank you

Been using Nizoral 2% for many years and I believe it has made a bit of a difference. While I don't think it's growing me any hair.. I think it may be saving what I have a bit. I always use after a good work out, lather some up and leave in hair as it dries.

        Happy New Year to all!

I've heard some good things about Nizoral and Revita but I'm not too sure on the whole Nioxin range. A DHT blocker shampoo would be worth a go in my opinion, have you considered using a thickening shampoo or conditioner also? May give your hair the appearance of a little more volume while you try the anti DHT stuff.

Does Nizoral shampoo really can block dht?
Or it just used for treating dandruff?

Nizoral is a very good shampoo that cleans away dandruff from your head and it is recommended by most of the doctors also there is one more shampoo that is selsun which is also very good for controlling dandruff.

It keeps your scalp clean and also prevents the hair fall too. I do use nizoral when I have lot of dandruff in my head also when it gets flakey.

As somewhere it becomes main cause of hair loss too.

After a month using Nizoral, I only ever shed when I use a regular shampoo. That's got to mean something.
