Quitting finasteride today - any last advice?

I will be stopping finasteride today on the chance it has contributed to my escalating anxiety, mood swings and depression which is a shame because it has been so great to my hair for so long. I have been reading for days all the possible other treatments but each one has its critics and I just at the point on giving up. The other options I was considering were topical finasteride (less sides?), pumpkin seed oil (does it even work?), laser comb (does this even prevent hair loss), ru (need a science degree to work out how to do this one) and even some ginger treatment a guy was talking about on here. Can anyone give advice on these treatments or others which could replace fin because it won't be long until the expected shedding. Thanks

I gave up fin and started using pumpkin seed oil, saw palmetto and a whole host of other vitals, throw in I grow and a caffeine shampoo and I started loosing big time! So jumped back on it but at a lower dose! I'm contemplating RU but not sure yet! All that being said it may work for you

Do you mind me asking why you quit in the first place?

Are the sides you are getting known to be the result of fin? If you can get your hands on topical fin, I would try that. There is a guy in here who claims to have had success on it.

Thanks for the reply. No they are not known to be a side of fin for me but the only way I think I can find out is by giving it up. Doesn't topical fin become systemic thus creating the same sides?

You would think so, but the guy that is using it is claiming to be having success and is side free. I am not sure how many are using topical fin though.
