You can email Dr Steve Edgar who is a GP in the UK who I now recommend people to since other Gp's i previously recommended have stopped due to illness or workload.

Many patients have been using Dr Edgar's service to obtain 5mg Proscar and 5mg generic for a while now.

He is currently looking into obtaining 1mg finepica too in order to offer it to patients.

He requires patients fill out an online consent form in order to fulfil GMC regulations/requirements.

He charges approx £200 for 5mg Proscar and £170 for generic 5mg finasteride for 14 months supply.

I believe he charges £300 for 6 months Dutasteride however speak to him directly and confirm.

I'm in the UK and I've been ordering 1mg fin (finpecia) from http://www.inhousepharmacy-europe.com for the last couple of years.

It's super cheap and legit stuff (if you search this forum you'll find other people also giving it the thumbs up, so don't just take my word for it).

Unfortunately, the generic stuff that Dr Edgar prescribes is way too expensive for what it is (sorry Spex ) - the generic stuff from inhouse is EXACTLY the same, same packaging, everything. Your call.

For example, the 5mg fin from Inhouse is $89.70 for 90 tablets (which will last 450 days!), with free shipping too. Compared to £170.00 from Dr Edgar.

If you get a prescription from a hair clinic doctor in the UK who is registered with the GMC then you should be able to get a years supply of finastiride 5mgs for less than £30. If you had to pay the doctor as much as £50 for the script you would still save a hell of a lot of money by not paying for a prescription and supply online. Even a private prescription from another EU nation could get you 12 packs of 28 5mg finastiride [assuming you were using 5mgs per day] at a cost of £47 the lot...possibly even less than this if using 1mg per day. I should know as I got a years supply at this price using an Irish prescription at a UK pharmacy. I previously got 1 years supply of finastiride 5mg tabs [to be cut in 4 ] when on one mg per day from a UK pharmacy using a GMC script for around £10 over the counter Of course if you are not being reviewed or treated by any hair loss clinic then this may not be an option unless a GP writes a private prescription.
