Finasteride and antidepressants interaction.

Hi, iv been taking 1mg Finasteride for a few years now through private prescription, my doctor doesn't know about this. I was recently prescribed the anti depressant citalopram 10mg by my doctor, I stopped taking finasteride as a precaution. Does anybody know if they are safe to be both taken daily? I don't want my hair to suffer as I have to stick with the antidepressants for a few months but I'm not sure if they could possibly interact.

Does anybody have any experience or knows if this is safe, or even a website where I may be able to check.?

Hiding drug usage from your doctor is a really really stupid thing to do. Talk with them about this.

Hello, you need to check with your doctor but I am taking both too prescribed by my GP.
