    Hydrocortisone cream

I found a post on another forum (http://www.hairlosshelp.com/forums/m...ighlight_key=y) recommending hydrocortisone cream. The poster even claims it regrew temple hair.
I presently take finasteride and was considering adding hydrocortisone to my regime.
Has anyone else tried this stuff? Did you see any results?
Please share your experiences. Many thanks.

I'd personally be concerned with using that on a long term basis on your face and scalp....but I mean, let them experiment first :P hope it works.

Yeah, I've been told by dermatologists that steroid creams shouldn't be used for longer than 2 weeks, else you run risks for skin thinning.

I used it for 2 months and stopped, my regrowth has been great ! I mainly post of hairlosshelp. My skins ok I used derma roller and tretinoin so helps skin regeneration, plus snail cream thickens skin. I used Dactokart cream contains 2% microconozate and 1% hydorcortisone.

Ok firstly my names jazz iv been on here for a while and great forum I decided to create a thread on my success in hairloss. I'm creating this progress thread and will be updating more pictures as I get more regrowth, there's loads more hair coming so I thought I'd make a progress thread. Not going into too much detail but il

          I used the rotation:

          M: hydro 1% EOD
          T: retin-a . 025% EOD
          W-Sun same rotation

In about 2-3 weeks hairs were growing in all over the place. I know FOR FACT this works. I mean it was beard like speed hair growth. Some of them shot straight up like a wire but most didnt.
But..... I am SCARED of hydro long term. Discontinued and am still maintaining them and growing those created.

If hydro is jamming the autoimmune response then maybe topical valium could be swapped in place of it: (Dr. Proctor says under a microscope mpb looks like organ rejection)

Prolongation of skin allograft survival by Valium (diazepam).
          Ballantyne DL Jr, Harper AD.
          Abstract
The survival of rat skin allografts was significantly increased by repeated intraperitoneal injections of 2.5 mg Valium (diazepam) into hosts. In addition, in vivo pretreatment of the donor animals at this dose level decreased the intensity of the recipients' immune responses to skin allografts. In vitro exposure of skin grafts to Valium also prolonged allograft survival.

          So..hydro/retin-a short term growth
          Longer term: topical valium/retin-a

I was recently proscribed Olux foam, which is a topical steroid. I've only been using it for a few days, but it has completely eliminated the typical AGA itch and sebum. I am a diffuse thinner, and I am convinced there is an autoimmune response involved in AGA. If that is indeed the case, the. Steroids should at least stop loss, if not regrow hair. Perhaps DHT creates an autoimmune response in hair? All I can say is that my scalp has never felt better.

What do you want to get?

Snail cream I wouldnt buy. Snails are carriers for T. gondii. From the other threads, it's pretty obvious I am not a fan of T. gondii.

No. I've never tried HC creams. I'm just saying Kirkland is a trusted name.
There was a time a couple of years ago when some people were raving about anti fungal creams growing a lot of hair.

I wonder if dropping down to 0.5% Hydro applied EOd would negate most of the side effects. Plus apply emu oil on off days and dermaroll

Or better yet apply once or twice a week only

I haven't seen it to regrow hair. You may see absolutely no benefit to adding this to the regimen.
