Nizoral use frequency

I use Nizoral every 4 days and the last two times after washing it out I have had massive sheds, is this because I am using it too often?

I us regenepure daily have done for past 2 years, nizoral on other hand is crap.

Regenpure Ketoconazole %

My understanding is that Ketoconazole is the active ingredient in these products that has been studied for hairless. Although Regenapure DR contains this ingredient, I couldn't find a %. In Nizoral the active ingredient is Ketoconazole 1%. My guess (only a guess) is that Regenapure has less of a % so I wouldn't use it for that reason. As for frequency, Spex recommends no more than 2x per week, otherwise your scalp will dry out and shedding will occur.

Nizoral is extremely harsh on the scalp and hair so I would use it sparingly or perhaps follow it up with some sort of moisturising treatment of your choice such as almond milk or coconut water.
