    therapy-g

I spoke to a barber today, and they recommended a product called "Therapy-G". It is a 4 step shampoo system that supposedly over time can help with restoring hair loss. I've searched the internet, and outside of their own site, I can't find any reviews positive or negative about this product. The barber seemed pretty confident that the product worked, but said that it takes as much time to grow the hair back as it took you to lose it. It is quite expensive, and she said not to buy it unless I did my research, as it was a "Lifstyle change." Has anyone heard of or tried this stuff? I can't even find mention of it on the forums HERE, and I definitely don't want to spend the money if it's not going to work.

    Thanks.

(the website is therapyg.com if anyone was curious.)

I would listen to a dermatologist about hair loss I guess before I would a barber or some random guy. I havent seen many before/after pictures based solely on shampoo results that were that impressive. I personally use shampoo to clean my hair not to stop a complex process from happening. I guess if you cant tell I am bearish shampoo and bullish FDA treatments

The only real treatments out there that have been proven are finasteride, minoxidil(rogaine) and Nizoral shampoo (helps with inflammation and according to some studies, hair growth). These barber shop shampoo "cures" are incredibly common and are nothing but over-priced shampoo with false promises. If you think about it, if there was a shampoo effective in treating hairloss, everyone would know about it and people wouldn't have to resort to medical treatments and hair transplants.
