If finasteride works so well how come they don't have commercials?

Usually when a big product exists, especially pharmaceuticals, they are advertised heavily.

How come I've never seen an ad for finasteride?

Dur....you must not watch the right stations or shows - IE those with a primary male audience in the 20-40 category. I've seen ads for Propecia plenty of times.

I have seen Propecia commercials but not anymore. I think you can youtube it nowadays. I do see an awful lot of Bosley commercials, doesn't make them good.

        Anyway...do you see commercials for Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Maserati's?

Do you see fancy 5 star restaurants promoting themselves like Micky D's and Burger King on commercials?

Do you see $10k-100k+ dollar luxury watch brands on commercials?

The answer is no, you don't, it's probably because they don't have to. Propecia doesn't have to promote itself anymore, maybe it did already in the 90s.

McDonald's and Burger King having commercials doesn't make them good.

Roaine foam or any minoxidil foam brand is trash, big waste of money for me.

Minoxidil liquid does work however. The difference in results is like night and day, at least in my case. Foam really does nothing at all to my hair, not even stop hair loss. It's like it doesn't penetrate through the skin at all, while solution form does penetrate the skin and goes to work on thickening the hair.

Kirkland Minoxidil 5% (regular liquid) is working wonders on my head.

The results are still early for me but I am Very impressed so far.

If things keep progressing in the way they have been up to this point, I get the feeling the results will be better than I even expected.

I am also using kirkland's minoxidil. It works great, just 3 weeks in I saw a difference in thickening.

You're right Patiently, the quality improvement of already existing hair was almost immediate with Kirkland minoxidil 5%. Just made the little hair I have stronger and more firm.

Is finasteride a big product? I can tell you right now any chance of sexual sides does not sit well with most men, and keeping your hair is not a dramatic before/after photo for a selling point. If it changed a NW 7 to NW 2 that might be worth advertising, but that is far from what it is.
