Hey everyone, I hope this is legit as well. I haven't heard of any trials currently being conducted and this forum is usually good at digging up anything even remotely hair related so I am a tad bit skeptical. But I suppose Dr. Hasson would know better than anyone of us since he has worked in the industry for so long. I don't see any reason why he would mention it to me if it weren't true. I hope it's not simply the dutasteride clinical trials for hair loss that I've seen mentioned on this board a couple times.

I asked Dr. Hasson about this a few days ago. He said that there was nothing more to share than what has already been stated. He doesn't know the name of this AA and he heard about it at the ISHRS conference back in October.www.HassonandWong.com
All opinions are my own and may not necessarily be shared by Dr. Wong and/or Dr. Hasson.

So there is some new topical AA going through trials that coming out in a year that no one knows anything about like the name or anything?Comment
-
This AA though is going through trials and is coming out shortly? I hope thats true it would be good news to get something while we wait for CB in terms of maintaining hair without propecia. I personally really want to avoid trying propecia.Comment

Given the history of MPB I will believe it when I see it. Odds are its a mistake or misunderstanding because its really hard to believe no one on these forums ever found it or noticed.Comment
-
If someone figures out what this is I hope they tell the rest of us. I am skeptical, but I would love to be wrong and a good topical comes out this year. The key though is it needs to go through trials and have proof it works. We have way too many topicals that have systemic sides or just dont work and all of them are way over priced with no evidence they do anythingComment

well i went and look what was on the agenda and what topics were covered at the conference and an AA topical was not one of them...very strangeComment

hmm yeah seems odd. I was figuring it was probably bogus because anything in trials seems like it would get spotted by someone here. Its a shame though CB 03 01 is years away which is a really long time to watch hair go away.Comment

If CB 03-01 is not on a fast track drug development protocol (and why would it seeing as hairloss is not a health issue per se) then it's 7-8 years from market.
They're only filing the IND this year. My follicles will long have been executed by the time this comes out.Comment

He was most likely talking about CB and the release date was probably a misunderstanding
Also, wasn't there some talk about topical fin in one of last year's conferences?Comment
-
The whole approval process seems silly. Why cant you decide on all the stuff for both acne and hair at the same time and just do both at once? They are the same drug and maybe same vehicle what is so different and dangerous between the twoComment

Nothing, the big bosses at the top at Cosmo Pharmaceuticals we're too effing stupid to realize the cashcow that CB would be had they started with hair loss first. #failComment
