    Rogain Foam

Is this product any good? Is it as greasy as the original stuff?

Rogaine foam is much better then the original but it can still mess with your style if you wear your hair dry.

My patients are telling me that it is way less greasy and much easier to style hair compared to old Rogaine solution. I know there are ingredients that have been removed in an attempt to improve patient satisfaction. I think you can use it just at night and the effecte will still last 24 hrs.

so someone at the marketing department thought that they would exclude the product from the uk

The foam is definetely not as greasy as the liquid formula (I've only used the liquid a few times). The biggest downside I have faced is that if too much gets on your hair, it can clump it together and make it hard (kinda like putting on hairspray)

                          Not a bad price really,

The site says the foam showed an 85% effectiveness rate as compared to 55% in the liquid. Anyone know where I can see the study and data on this?

I am six month post HT and also on Proscar. I am happy the way things are turning out but is considering using Rogaine Foam to kick start any dormant newly transplanted follicles. My concern however is that should I stop this treatment in the future and only continue the proscar treatment the "newly" transplanted follicles will shed. It seems there is a number of men experiecing sheding once they stopped using rograine. Is this a risk or is the shedding only relating to non transplanted hair as the translanted hair is harvested from a donar area not suffering MPB. Any advise will be welcome - thanks

I heard people say foam is less effective than liquid because you waste most of your minoxidil on your hair.
