So your doctor told you that you shouldn't take it because it increases your risk of thyroid cancer and that scared you, but you then decided to take it anyway and turn to the internet for medical advice?
You should find a really good internist, I have been on fin for 3-4 years and I have noticed zero side effects until recently I started noticing mild gyno after I had to stop working out after a hair transplant and I am going to see a friend of my uncle's who is the best internist in my state. I will let you know what he has to say after my work up and appointments. But I think you need to see a well respected specialist to evaluate your situation.Comment

I will, however I am leaving in two weeks on a research expedition to the Panamanian Jungle for four months, so I will not be seeing the internist until probably some time in January. After I see him I will post in this thread or make a new one, but I would suggest all of you do the same as I am doing. Go see a very good internist, get all of your hormone levels checked out and discuss your issues and your use of fin. If you can alter your hormones with fin, you can adjust them with other treatments to offset the side effects, just my personal outlook.Originally posted by Conpeciame too, any help would be a lifesaver. i could just take propecia if it wasn't for the gynoComment

Same bro, same, lol I wish there was a demand for an easy gyno reverser as well, a cream sort of thing, that might be cured before this ****.
Do you guys with the mild gyno think it would ever happen to this extent if you continued?
That's from finasteride, 4 months from one patient. I personally don't think (*hope*) mine would never become that extreme, I got more of some excess fat, puffy nipples. Still FAR from ideal and pretty ****ing annoying, but not full out tits like that one. I can kinda live with mine if it doesn't get much worse even as it looked on fin, but my understanding is it always get worse.Comment
