Ordering dut today. Avodart look way too expensive. Is dr reddy legit? Also recommend a brand, if you're partial to one.
Recommend a brand of dut please. Thanks.

To my knowledge, I am not aware if Dutas from Inhouse has ever been tested by an independent lab, but with that being said...
I am a little over 3 months in using Dutas that I purchase from Inhouse. My personal experience to this point is a major shed and the appearance of vellus hairs along my hair line.
Another member on this site named Aames has been using Dutas from Inhouse and had has since had his DHT levels checked. The results have shown a drop.
I hope this helps and I wish you the best! -
Yeah, I'm for sure going through inhouse. Avodart is just way too expensive. I'd just as soon get Dr Reddy or the other cheaper one. So, I'm more or less looking for a recommendation for either. To my knowledge, I am not aware if Dutas from Inhouse has ever been tested by an independent lab, but with that being said...

At one 0.5 dose a week, it's not a terrible expense to add regardless of brand, but I might as well save a little dough.
I'm leaning towards Dutas at the moment because Dr Reddys just sounds cheesey.Comment

Dutas is produced by Dr. Reddy's. I believe Dutagen is the other generic that Inhouse carries and is the less expensive of the two.
The name might sound funny, but if you search for info on Dr. Reddy's, you will find they are a multinational company with quite the reputation.
Again, regardless of which generic you choose... good luck!Comment

Hair is definitely worse since baseline. It'd be premature for me to say it isn't working at 4.5 month though. I have no adverse effects from fin so I'm going to toss 0.5mg dut a week into the mix. I can't really justify not busting out the big guns. The regret from not starting fin earlier is almost unbearable and I don't want to have the same feelings about dut.Comment

Is overall density worse? Or just more recession/frontal loss? Fin raises scalp T significantly! Which is why hairlines take a hit sometimes. I'd personally suggest RU as it blocks T and DHT, and have seen a lot of anecdotal stories of it for hairline/frontal success.Hair is definitely worse since baseline. My vertex and crown density are great. Soaking wet you can't see through it at all. My hairline is just absolutely ravaged though. Actually it's the whole frontal/temporal area. My "M" shaped hairline is moving towards a little island of hair in the front center; very similar to Jude Law's hair.
The thing is, I know the MPB pattern of my family and it ends at NW5-7. No guys really ever just go NW2-3 then stay put. So, unless I'm somehow a hybrid of my NW1 and NW6/7 family members, I'm assuming I'm on my way towards the latter.
I've considered RU, but I'm turned off to experimentals and topicals. I don't really care to add Minox, though tempted at times.
I figure dut once a week will give me the edge and hopefully I can have thick hair, even if it's a thick NW 2.5 -- I can live with that.Comment
