    Started Propecia.... Holy Sh*t!

    Hi guys

I started taking propecia 3 weeks ago breaking myself in gently with 0.25 every Tuesday. But recently Ive been getting these weird feelings in an around my nuts & prostate, cant really put my finger on it? Not really a pain maybe just a little discomfort? Sometime feels like I need to pee but I dont? Any ideas?

    Cheers

Also had the same feeling -- pretty sure most every guy gets it starting fin. I would describe it as someone gently squeezing your prostate. Anyways, mine took less than a week to go away.

I had some sensitivity in my testicles only. It kind of felt like my nuts were being squeezed slightly. It didn't hurt but was pretty annoying because it was a constant feeling. It only lasted two days and luckily *knocks wood* nothing since.

That's your prostate shrinking, soon it'll stop working properly.

                Nice assumption.
I recently posted a question regarding the sides and how I THink my fat burner may have brought some on.

I started propecia and Minox because I have been losing my hair since High school. Its pretty hard on me because I was always a good looking guy who took very good care of himself. What worse is I have a brother who is only 2 years younger who will never lose his hair. We look almost identical aside this. It makes me insanely

I think you are right about the caffeine as it has been feeling latley like when you sit on your nuts by accident but for a week or so now.
Also feel like I have been peeing a lot lately.

Yeah thats the feeling! Ive literally cut out coffee all this week and last weekend and feeling has now gone completely. Not sure if it did have anything to do with it but I didn't feel it helped the situation. I was also peeing like a race horse!

Your prostate and testes are adjusting. Remember this is the main source of what causes male pattern baldness the hormones secreted in both are what causes the fallout and terrible end result and it is combined with the hairline receptors not being immune to the DHT being able to block its effects. It has to alter the chemistry of the prostate and changing the testosterone that is produced there from testosterone to dihydrotestosterone DHT to do its job effectively and over time get the job done to give the hair the freedom to grow without the body processing a set of destructive hormones that inhibit hair growth.

I had this as well, it's more of a dull pain in my case though, it's slowly going away, it seems to be something that when I remember about it I can feel it again, like now lol. Sometimes I think it's my brain creating the pain but probably not.
