I was being a little sarcastic about there being no problems reported on forums (forgive me!), every other thread appears to be dedicated to describe some issue or side effect relating to finasteride (which baffles me personally as somebody that has responded well to the drug, without any side effects at all).

I have been taking propecia 1mg everyday for a little over 9 months, my hair has thickened up nicely where it was thin before, and I feel like I am losing very little hair (if any - fingers crossed that continues), which is a contrast to what I was experiencing pre-finasteride. I am very happy at the moment with my decision to begin treatment and use finasteride, however I am of course continuing to monitor how my body reacts to it.

The side effects that everyone it appears to talk about on forums are definitely worth considering, however also worth looking at are the independent finasteride studies that by in large report fewer than 5% of people experiencing such side effects.

Most importantly ask your doc of course before getting on any medication!
