Finasteride Routine

I've been taking finasteride for the past 7 months and at first I was on a fairly relaxed routine of taking my medication. I'd take it at 7am some days then 10am the other, depending on when I woke up. After a month or two of this I went onto a much stricter routine of one time a day (or within the hour).

I wanted to know how much leeway you taking finasteride in regards to time if anyone can help?

Ignore the idiot above me, it's fine if you take your medication 7am one day and 10am the next, it wont make a difference. don't take more than 1mg a day, more than that will not increase the medicines effectiveness and a 5mg dosage is used to treat your prostate.

Yeahh I wasn't so keen on his recommendation. Thanks though, I started to worry it'd lose it's effect if I wasn't taken on the hour. Nice to know there's some leeway!

A lot of people take it every other day. A lot of us cut the pills into the desired dose we want which obviously isn't giving us an exact dosage. .5mg inhibits virtually the same amount of DHT as 5 mgs, so I wouldn't sweat taking it at the exact same time every day.

I taking in the morning for the most part, but I have taken it at night too. I've been on it for a year now. I have missed a few days here and there, and it's still working great.
