Through the research I have made I found that I will have better results if before the hair transplant (I am planning to have a FUE hair transplant next summer) I start a therapy with minoxidil, finasteride and PRP. This therapy it is suggested to be continued after the hair transplant, for ever as I understand. My main concerns are: will I have the same results without PRP, and which combination between the three (minoxidil, finasteride and PRP) will be most effective before and after the transplant?

Finasteride and Minoxidil are the most important parts of your routine. They do most of the heavy lifting to stop hair loss and stabilize your hair before and after the transplant.
PRP can help with healing and give a temporary boost, but it is expensive and not strictly necessary. You can absolutely get great results without it.
Most surgeons recommend starting Finasteride and Minoxidil at least 6 to 12 months before your FUE procedure. Have you already consulted with a surgeon to get their specific recommendation for your hair type?

Thanks for sharing this info! As someone looking into an FUE transplant soon as well, it's reassuring to hear that PRP isn't strictly necessary. Has anyone here had success using just Finasteride and Minoxidil for stabilization before their surgery without doing PRP at all? Regards, nulls brawlComment
